What we are not (important statements)
These statements exist to prevent anyone being misled about our role. Please read them.
- We are not an employment agency or an employment business. Padgrad advertises graduate opportunities and provides careers tools. We do not introduce or supply work-seekers to hirers, and we do not charge work-seekers to find them work. Where you apply for a role, your relationship is with the employer advertising it, not with us.
- We are not immigration advisers. We do not give advice about visas, immigration status, sponsorship or right to work, and we cannot do so lawfully. Immigration advice in the UK may only be given by someone authorised by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) or otherwise exempt. We will signpost you to your university's international student adviser or an OISC-registered adviser.
- We are not solicitors, tax advisers or financial advisers. Nothing on our websites is legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. For PadCount specifically: our software captures and organises your data for onward submission by your accountant. It is not tax advice, and HMRC acceptance of anything produced from it is not guaranteed.
- We do not guarantee outcomes. We cannot and do not guarantee interviews, job offers, visa outcomes, admissions or salary levels. Any indicative score, rating or forecast shown in the product is an estimate, not a promise.
- We are not the employer. Job listings are provided by third-party sources or by employers. We take reasonable care in how we collect, present and refresh them, but the employer is responsible for the accuracy of its own advert and for its recruitment decisions.
