Version 1.0 — 12 September 2026
This Disclaimer applies to padgrad.com and padcount.com, both operated by Padgrad Ltd (company number 17365449, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU). It supplements our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. General information only
The content on our websites — including job listings, blog articles, guides, salary figures, career advice, quiz results, scores and generated documents — is provided for general information and convenience. It is not tailored advice for your individual circumstances and should not be treated as a substitute for your own research or for advice from a qualified professional.
2. No guarantee of outcomes
We provide tools and listings. We do not control employers, recruiters, universities, admissions teams, visa authorities or hiring processes, and we cannot and do not guarantee:
- that you will be shortlisted, interviewed, offered a role, or hired;
- that any application, referral or introduction will lead to any outcome;
- that a vacancy is still open, accurately described, or genuine (we take reasonable care — see section 3);
- that any salary, market or trend figure reflects what you will actually be paid;
- any admission, scholarship, sponsorship or visa outcome.
We are not an employment agency or employment business. We do not introduce or supply work-seekers to hirers and we do not charge work-seekers for finding work.
3. Job listings and third-party information
Listings are collected from public sources and supplied by employers. We take reasonable care to collect, present and refresh them, but the employer is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of its advert. Listings can be amended or withdrawn without notice. Where you follow a link to an employer or another site, that site's terms and privacy notice apply, and we are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
If you believe a listing is fake, discriminatory, misleading, a scam, or unlawful, report it to legal@padgrad.com and we will review it.
4. Artificial intelligence
Some features use artificial intelligence (see the AI Transparency Notice). AI output is machine-generated and may be incomplete, generic, out of date or simply wrong. In particular:
- generated CV text, cover letters and feedback are drafts — you must read, check and edit them before use, and you are responsible for what you send to an employer;
- any "match", "score", "prediction" or "forecast" is an estimate based on patterns, not a statement of fact and not a decision about you;
- AI output may reflect bias present in training data or in the underlying job data;
- AI output is not legal, immigration, tax, accounting, financial or medical advice.
We do not use solely automated processing to make final decisions about you.
5. Not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice
- Immigration and visas. We do not provide immigration advice or immigration services and we cannot lawfully do so. In the UK, giving immigration advice without authorisation is a criminal offence (Immigration and Asylum Act 1999). We will not answer questions about visas, sponsorship, dependants, settlement or right to work. Please speak to your university's international student adviser or an adviser registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) — find one at gov.uk/find-an-immigration-adviser.
- Tax and accounting (PadCount). PadCount is software that captures, organises and exports your expense, revenue and VAT data. It is not tax or accounting advice and it does not submit anything to HMRC on your behalf. We do not guarantee that HMRC will accept any figure, report or format produced from PadCount. Your accountant or tax adviser remains responsible for your filings. Connect your accountant before you file anything.
- Financial and investment. Nothing on our websites is financial, investment or pension advice or a financial promotion.
- Employment law. We do not advise on your contract, your rights against an employer, discrimination, settlement agreements or dismissals. For that, see a solicitor, your trade union, ACAS (acas.org.uk) or Citizens Advice.
6. Accuracy, availability and external links
We aim to keep information accurate and current and to keep the services available, but we provide the services "as available". We may suspend, withdraw or change features, and we are not liable for interruptions, errors, or any loss caused by something beyond our reasonable control. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
7. Content from other users
Reviews, comments, experiences and other content posted by users (including content about named employers) are the views and responsibility of the person who posted them. We do not verify them and do not adopt them as our own statements. We act on valid complaints and notices — see the Content, Copyright & Takedown Policy.
8. What this Disclaimer does not do
This Disclaimer does not limit or exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer — including the right that services are performed with reasonable care and skill and that digital content is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015). Where this Disclaimer conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.
